Participant Requirements
– Must be at least 18 years of age
– Must speak, read & write in English
– Provide a USI (Unique Student Identifier)
– Provide suitable identification i.e. Australian driver licence, Passport, Proof of ID Card
Course Overview
The course will be delivered over two days at our training facility in Tullamarine, including pre-course online studies.
Course Breakdown
Students will receive a link to register for the course and commence online activities prior to the 1st session.
Day 1 – Training 7:30am start 3pm finish approx.
An OZFORKS trainer will guide students through any pending online requirements and explain the licence testing process. This will be followed by a PowerPoint presentation of forklift safe operating practices including practice tests to prepare them for the assessment. The session will conclude with practical training including hazard identification, identifying control measures in place, forklift safety checks, and practical training.
Day 2 – Test Day 7:30am start 2pm finish approx.
- House Keeping
- Forklift operating practice
- Revision for Theory, Calculation and Practical tasks
- Theory, Calculation and Practical Assessments (Licence tests)
Course Outcome
On sucessful outcome of the course, participants will be issued wirh a temporary WorkSafe forklift licence which is valid for 60 days and be able to apply for a nationally recognised forklift High Risk Work Licence from Worksafe.

Booking Process
After returning the information an invoice will be sent for the course. Once the invoice is paid a booking confirmation will be forwarded and participants will receive a link via SMS and email to register and commence pre-course activities. A paid invoice / receipt will be made available on the 1st day of training.
