FORKLIFT / ORDERPICKER REFRESHER COURSE
OVERVIEW
OZFORKS provide a 2.5-3-hour Forklift / Orderpicker Refresher Training course designed for licenced operators. This course is delivered by an appointed High Risk Work Trainer so you can be assured that the trainer is highly skilled and experienced with current industry knowledge.
The course is split into two components: Knowledge/Practical –
Knowledge – participants are presented information by the trainer via an interactive PowerPoint presentation that will encourage discussion ensuring participants are informed of current licencing requirements in line with the current training provided to new operators.
This concludes with a brief written knowledge assessment.
Practical – Participants will participate in a practical driving component to address any unsafe driving practices.
A On successful completion of the training program, Ozforks will provide documentation that will support aspects of the employer’s WHS/OHS compliance obligations including a copy of the VOC.
Course Content
- Review of Occupational Health & Safety
- Forklift / Orderpicker stability and dynamics
- Review of Forklift / Orderpicker Operator Safe Work Practices
- Theory assessment
- Practical Basic Skills assessment
PARTICIPANT REQUIREMENTS
- Participants must hold a current Forklift or Orderpicker Licence
SITE REQUIREMENTS
- Training room to conduct the theory training. The trainer will need access to a monitor & HMDI connection.
- Access to compliant Forklift or Orderpicker including an area where the participants can perform basic day to day operating tasks.
Course Fee:
Minimum 4 participants required: $250pp – GST included.
Maximum 10 participants per session
